Gao Baocheng, a famous Chinese film actor. His performances are simple and natural. He joined the Eighth Route Army in 1938. In 1953, he became a member of the Chinese People's Liberation Army General Political Department Art Troupe. In 1954, he stepped into the film industry by playing a guerrilla fighter named "Tiger" in the movie "Breaking Through the Darkness before Dawn". His representative work is the 1955 film "Up to the Mountain Ridge" (portraying the platoon leader Zhang Zhongfa).
