Zhao Ling, born in 1974, is a voice actor from Changzhou, Jiangsu.
He graduated from the Performing Arts Department of the PLA Academy of Arts. With a unique and pleasant voice, he combines the elegance and profoundness, mastering the tension and relaxation of the vocal cords with precision, and interprets characters accurately and vividly. In his early years, he appeared in some TV series.
Some representative dubbing works include: Jack Dawson in the translated movie 'Titanic 3D', Brian O'Conner in 'Fast & Furious 4-7', Clark Kent in 'Superman Returns' and 'Man of Steel', David in 'Prometheus'; Vladimir Koloff in the translated TV series 'The Enchantment of Petersburg'; Prince Yuntai in the domestic TV series 'Empresses in the Palace', Ouyang Shaogong in the TV series 'Swords of Legends'; Xie Yi in the game 'Swords of Legends 2'.
In 1992, Zhao Ling enlisted in the army and served as an actor in the General Political Troupe. In 1998, he performed a skit 'Accordion for Three People' and won the second prize in the Third National Skit TV Competition. Besides performing within the troupe, Zhao Ling also participated in dubbing work. After retiring from the army in 2004, he started to participate in the filming of TV dramas, starring in dramas like 'Sink and Float' and 'Daughter of the Colonel'. After starring in the ethical drama 'Gift of Love' in 2008, he stopped filming TV dramas. In 2011, he dubbed for Prince Yuntai in 'Empresses in the Palace'; in 2012, he dubbed for Jack in the 3D version of 'Titanic'; in 2013, he participated in the dubbing work for the single-player game 'Swords of Legends 2: Eternal Night, Initial Dawn, Azure Sky', marking his first time dubbing for a domestic video game.
In January 2014, Zhao Ling won the Best Actor award at the 13th Radio Drama Expert Awards for the radio drama 'Chinese Corn King'. That same year, he was honored as an outstanding guiding teacher at the China Women's College; in 2015, he voiced for Shen An in 'Hua Xu Yin: City of Desperate Love'. In 2016, Zhao Ling also participated in the dubbing work for 'The Princess Weiyoung' and 'Stay with Me'.
