Born on June 27, 1970, in Urumqi, Xinjiang. In 1994, he graduated from the Performance Department of the Central Academy of Drama with a bachelor's degree. In 1998, he graduated from the Performance Department of the Central Academy of Drama with a master's degree and stayed on as a teacher. In 2002, he joined the National Theater Company. His film and television works have been well received, and his career is flourishing, gradually transitioning towards directing. In 2012, he gained increased popularity and fame for his role as Emperor Yongzheng in the highly-rated drama "Empresses in the Palace." His notable works include "Three Kingdoms," "Qiao's Grand Courtyard," and "Empresses in the Palace."
