Pan Zhiwen was born on March 21, 1950 in Xinhui, Guangdong. He is an actor known for his works such as "Heavenly Men and Brave Women", "The Bund", and "Demigods and Semi-Devils".
In 1967, he entered the film and television industry and became a member of the first training class of the Guotai Film Company, where he participated in some film performances and received training in Cantonese opera, Yu opera, and contemporary music. In 1968, he was admitted to the film training class. In early 1978, Pan Zhiwen, who was already popular on Hong Kong radio, joined Lida Television, injecting new vitality into the TV station which was originally lacking in charismatic young actors.
