Bai Yin, originally named Chen Huixian, is a renowned Hong Kong film actress and veteran TV artist. Hailing from Xinhui, Guangdong, she was born in Kuala Lumpur and later settled in Hong Kong. She joined Xinlian Film Company as an actress in 1959, then moved to Lida Television in the 1970s, appearing in dramas like 'Chasing Tribes' and 'The Amazing Female'. In 1979, she joined TVB and has since starred in numerous TV dramas. Bai Yin possesses a charming and resonant voice and excels in portraying sharp-tongued and sarcastic female characters, such as Erniang in 'The Bund' and Wei Chunhua in 'The Duke of Mount Deer', which endeared her to the audience. In later years, she often played motherly roles. Her husband is former professional footballer and current South China Football Club youth coach Louis Wong.
