In 2003, he starred in idol dramas such as 'Dolphin Bay', '100% Senorita', and 'Westside Story'. Starting from 2004, he shifted his focus to mainland China, starring in dramas like 'The Great Dunhuang', 'Emerald on the Roof', and 'Mei Ren Xin Ji'. In 2009, he successfully portrayed the role of Xu Changqing in 'Chinese Paladin 3'. He continued to lead in popular dramas like 'Strange Hero Yi Zhi Mei' and 'The Swordsman'. In 2014, Wallace Huo's studio produced their first drama 'Perfect Couple', marking a successful transition into a producer. In July, the war epic drama 'Battle of Changsha' where Wallace Huo played the lead role aired on TV and became the highest-rated mainland Chinese TV drama of 2014 according to Douban.
