Guo Jiaming is the only participant from the '06 Good Man' competition who graduated from a professional institution. After reaching the top 15 in the national competition, he gave up the opportunity to continue and went to Germany to star in the Sino-German co-production film 'My German Story.' This film, shot entirely in Germany, not only was nominated for the 14th University Film Festival and the 2007 Lily Award but also caught the attention of the Syracuse Film Festival in the United States.
